Brief biography: 

Nicole Rothfuss is a dedicated higher education professional with expertise in admissions, financial aid, and academic advising. As Assistant Director of Undergraduate Financial Aid at Yale College, Nicole supports students’ academic and financial well-being through webinars, presentations, and collaborative efforts. With a student-centered approach, she provides personalized guidance and support, helping students navigate higher education’s complexities. Nicole holds a Master of Science in Counseling Education with a specialization in Student Development in Higher Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a minor in Marketing from Central Connecticut State University.

Nicole enjoys watching her daughters play soccer, hockey, basketball, and lacrosse, and cheering on live college sports.

Areas for involvement with Morse students: 

  • Academic Advising: Guidance for first-year students
  • Mentorship: Advising and mentoring for upperclassmen
  • Study Abroad: Financial aid support for summer, semester, or full academic year programs
  • Summer Internship Support: Collaboration with the Office of Career Strategy’s Summer Experience Award
  • Student Loan Counseling: Guidance on managing student loans
  • Moving Off-Campus: Support for students transitioning off-campus
  • Financial Aid Guidance: Additional resources, including:
    • Financial aid for study abroad programs
    • Understanding financial aid packages and managing student loans
    • Outside aid and Student Share ($3,700 per academic year or for Yale summer courses)
