Ella is a first-year Master of Public Health student in the Health Policy and Management track. She grew up in Los Angeles, California, and graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Global Public Health. At Yale, she is a Solomon Research Fellow, an advisor in the Office of Career Strategies, and a member of the medical debt and insurance team at the HAVEN Free Clinic. Her academic interests focus on chronic disease prevention, health equity, and the intersection of policy and community health. She’s always happy to chat about grad school, public health, the best matcha spots in New Haven, or just anything else on your mind!
