Alexis Nieves, from Brooklyn, NY, is a History major with a concentration in Race, Gender, and Sexuality, also pursuing an advanced language certificate in Spanish. On campus, Alexis is a member of the Yale Debate Association, a research assistant for Professor Elizabeth Hinton in the History Department, and involved in a few groups under Dwight Hall. Outside of school, she enjoys visiting museums and the movies, trying new coffee shops, and going on long walks while listening to a nice podcast or audiobook.
